Sugar beet molasses

Beet molasses is a valuable product of sugar beet processing, widely used in various industries. It is a thick dark brown liquid containing a large amount of nutrients and sugars.

This product is used in agriculture, food industry, feed production and bioenergy.

Quality:

• Basis 50% total (reducing) sugar below 46% is not acceptable (Lane-Eynon method – ICUMSA GS4/3-7 otherwise as is);
• BRIX ≥ 80% (BRIX by refractometer at 20 ºC, ICUMSA method book 2005, GS4-14 or by hydrometer ICUMSA method book 2005, GS4-15);
• PH min 6 max 8,5. PH value below 6 and above 8.5 is not acceptable (PH value, ICUMSA methods book 2005, GS1/2/3/4/7/8/23);
• Density ≥ 1.2 G/CM3.
